Basically, because Coldstone publicly provided nutrition information at the time the law was passed in NYC, they were required to put all caloric information on their menu boards. As the site says, since most of their menu items are custom made, it's virtually impossible to do that.

So, instead, they took down the information from their website. Now they aren't required to put it on the menu, and the rest of us get to pay the price along with the lovely, lovely people who put that law in place. Nice.
